WHAT IS YOUR COLLECTION FEE?

If we don’t collect any money for you, there is no fee. Additionally, there is no set up fee or retention fee. Our only fee is 25 to 50% of what is collected, depending on the type, age, size, and volume of accounts placed.

WHEN SHOULD I TURN MY ACCOUNTS OVER FOR COLLECTION?

If an account is 90 to 120 days past due, you should initiate placement with us as soon as possible. The faster we can get to work on it, the greater chance for successful resolution.

WHAT DOCUMENTATION IS NEEDED TO PLACE AN ACCOUNT FOR COLLECTION?

The more documentation you can provide to us the better. Typically, you need to provide copies of invoices, contracts, statements, bounced checks, judgments, letters or emails. Having a history of the collection efforts already made is also helpful.

 

WILL I HAVE TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT?

Yes, a Collection Service Agreement or Terms and Conditions is required before collection work begins. The Agreement is necessary to disclose the responsibilities of both the agency and the client. However, our Agreement does not lock you into any time or exclusivity commitments. You are free to cancel the collection attempts at will as long as CCC is not collecting payments, or negotiating a settlement with the debtor.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR CREDIT REPORTING?

No. As part of our service, all consumer collection claims that aren’t settled are reported to Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, and Innovis. Should you cancel an account, we would remove our trade line from each of credit bureaus.

ARE THERE ANY GUARANTEES THAT YOU WILL COLLECT?

No, we cannot guarantee collection. However, our agency only gets paid if we are successful, so you are assured every attempt will be made to collect your claim.

ARE YOU HIPAA COMPLIANT?

Our agency is an experienced, licensed and bonded third party agency who successfully handles all types of healthcare collections. We offer a free HIPAA Third Party Business Associate Agreement for your convenience.

I’M A MEDICAL PROVIDER. CAN YOU USE MY HIPAA BUSINESS ASSOCIATE AGREEMENT? (BAA)

We have our own “BAA” available for your use free of charge, however, we can use your BAA provided that it is totally compliant.

IF YOU COLLECT MY MONEY, WHEN DO I RECEIVE IT?

All moneys collected on behalf of clients are remitted at the end of each month, minus the amount of commission owing.
